Catching Up, Starting New

Where does the time go?  I think I am going to write on my website every month and the next thing I know, a winter has passed. And thank goodness this past winter is passing.  Lots going on in Lepcio land.  I just this week moved from New York City to Maine. That doesn't mean no more NYC, it just means NYC now visiting friends or house sitting or subletting as opposed to full time address and paying three levels of taxation.  I am lightening up and, essentially, giving myself a writing grant by moving to Maine and living much more cheaply.  Excited!  I also got a teaching job at College of the Atlantic where I went to college.  Visiting faculty member this semester teaching Dramatic Writing for Stage and Screen.  I've got a number of interesting students from around the world. COA works with United World College to bring international students to Maine.  Today is the first day. So looking forward to that.

In the meanwhile:  working on World Avoided, the climate change HUGE play.  Getting towards a second draft which I'll hear in a week at the Lark.  Yes, see, I'll be in NYC quite often.

What else?  Working on a major restructuring of The Gold for a summer workshop. More on that to come.

Working on two regional productions coming up this year. More on that too.  Two NEW plays. So supper jazzed.

Many more projects in the works.  I've got a long list and am grateful now to be in my peaceful Maine abode where i can write away.

Promise to be back here sooner than the last time.
