As you can likely imagine, committing to and writing a play a day is a lot of work. I am liking it and it feels very good for my writer muscle. I can also have moments when I'm like what the hell. What did I used to do with my life? I'm off schedule with other work, but mostly am finding this demanding schedule rewarding. Also, now that I am 8 weeks out of my old day job, I am really starting to appreciate my new rhythm. With coaching writing and writing most of the day with a bit of pet care thrown in, my life is completely centered around writing without the old need to jump out and do something more technical. I guess it was always all writing, but having to write economic reports felt different than my current focus.  I keep wondering if I want to write articles on subjects I know for money...otherwise known as blogging. But I keep not quite doing it. Maybe. In the meanwhile, it's plays and t.v. scripts and (don't tell anyone) I started a novel. And coaching some terrific students doing interesting work and getting ready for going into rehearsal in March.
Meanwhile, here I will catch up with the last couple of plays. Yesterday was a good whirlwind, because I took advantage of the prompt to jump back into a project I've been wanting to return to: The Ballad of Rom & Julz. I'll post the two prior plays. I'll hold on to Rom & Julz for now because it is in process and I want to get further before I share. Enjoy.
